The Brashear girls basketball team faced Cairo in the district semi-finals Wednesday night. Cairo got off to a fast start while using a tough defense to keep Brashear’s scoring in check. By halftime, Cairo had established a 44-16 lead. Cairo continued to dominate the second half and pulled away for a 77-23 win.
